Best Tampa Photographers (“we”, “us”) runs besttampaphotographers.com, an independent directory and ranking of photographers in the Tampa area. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What We Collect
- Information you send us through forms: your name, email, phone number (if you give it), event dates, and anything you write in a message. This includes availability requests, the contact form, photographer applications, listing claims, advertising requests and “notify me” sign-ups.
- Photographer interviews: if we invite you to an interview, the answers, logo, profile photo and gallery images you upload. These are published on the site as part of your interview and listing.
- Payment details: if you buy a Featured or Sponsored placement, payment is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical data: like any website, our server records standard information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working.
How We Use It
- To answer your message or request.
- To pass an availability request to the photographers you asked us to contact. When you use “Ask the top 3” or a studio’s “Check availability” form, your name, email, date and message are shared with those studios so they can reply to you directly.
- To review photographer applications and manage listings, claims and paid placements.
- To send emails you asked for, such as a notice when a new list is published. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Services We Use
- GoHighLevel stores form submissions in our customer relationship system so we can follow up.
- Stripe processes payments for paid placements.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces on this site, which means your browser requests font files from Google.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work, such as a short-lived cookie that keeps an invited photographer logged in to their interview page. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
How Long We Keep It
We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond and to run the directory, and then delete or anonymize them. Published listings and interviews stay online until the photographer asks us to change or remove them.
Your Choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Photographers can ask us to update or remove their listing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
