Alison Amick Photography · Tampa Family Photographer

Alison Amick Photography is a family and newborn photography studio based at 729 26th Ave N in St. Petersburg, Florida, known for relaxed, in-home newborn sessions rather than studio-posed portraits. Alison and her team member Samantha photograph families in the comfort of their own homes, aiming to capture the unique rhythm of the newborn period — quiet nursery moments, sibling introductions, and the small details of a family settling in with a new baby — instead of staged setups. The studio’s portfolio leans heavily on natural light and candid connection between parents and baby, which the business describes as central to its approach to family and newborn lifestyle photography. Operating from a St. Petersburg base, Alison Amick Photography serves families throughout the surrounding area and has built a strong reputation locally, holding a 5.0-star rating across 60 reviews. For parents who would rather skip a studio visit altogether and have their newborn photographed in familiar surroundings, Alison Amick Photography’s in-home model is a distinguishing feature compared to studio-based competitors in St. Petersburg. The team’s focus on authentic, unposed moments over heavily styled setups has made the studio a consistent choice for St. Petersburg families wanting newborn portraits that reflect real life at home rather than a curated backdrop.
